This isn't racist :shrug: the term "negro" has no negative connotations, it never has, it's just like classifying the African American race "black" it's not meant to demean the race or insult it, it's just the name given due to the dark skin tone.

Actually I don't care either way about this account but no, you're wrong about the 'negro' term. It's also derogatory. :P especially when that's what the Spaniards used to call slaves. It's the Spanish version of 'nigger', and that's what my ancestors in the Caribbean were called.
